Up for bid is a nice 1970 Honda cb450. Original motor, has 14,000 original miles. It has all ways been garaged since 1977. It belonged to my best friends father, Who had it sitting in his garage until he sold it to me in 1997. It has been in my garage since then. The bike had 12,000 miles on it when I bought it. At the time I rebuilt the carbs. replaced tune up parts and battery, and rode it for two years. After which it sat until 4-years ago when my 16 year old nephew asked if we could fix it up for him to ride. At which time I got it running and made sure compression was good, Trans shifted well, and no leaks. However The brake system, suspension, tires, tubes and all other rubber parts needed to be replaced. So we decided to completely redo the bike with all necessary new parts. Unfortunately after almost two years of working on it he lost interest in it. and I don't have the time or wish to finish it. All the parts, mostly new are here, Two exhaust systems, it is 75% assembled, fluids are good, battery new. Has custom paint. Great little project to finish up for next spring. Also comes with additional low mileage engine. THE REST OF THE PICTURES WERE TAKEN OVER THE LAST THREE YEARS IN PROGRESS. IT HAS BEEN SITTING IN THE GARAGE UNCOVERED, IS VERY DIRTY AND CORROSION IS BECOMING EVIDENT ON SOME NUTS AND BOLTS, ALSO ON SOME WHEEL SPOKES. THE REAR TIRE TUBE LEAKS AS IT WAS PINCHED ON INSTALL AND A NEW TUBE IS INCLUDED. AS MENTIONED IN THE DESCRIPTION THE CAM TIMING HAS TO BE SET. [ THE CAMS ARE NOT PROPERLY ALIGNED, TIMING CHAIN MUST BE LOOSENED AND CAMS ALIGNED.] . ALSO THERE IS A NICK IN THE PAINT ON THE REAR FENDER.
