This is a nicely optioned 1968 4-spd T-Top Corvette with its matching number original engine. It also has PS, PB and a rare telescopic column. I have the original matching number 327/300hp engine, but it needs a rebuild and is not in the car. What is in the car is another 1968 dated 327 engine with newer and better high performance angle plug heads. The car has a nice body and a solid frame. The Corvette bronze paint (code 992) has a few dings, but overall looks good. There is an exhaust leak at the headers and some of the gauges aren't working. The clutch is brand new and the carpet is also new, but I was missing the rear compartment doors, so the rear carpet is just laying there. The seats have some small rips. The headlights work and the wiper door works intermittently. I believe even the original radio works. The has four new brake calipers. Overall, this is a very nice 1968 Corvette that needs only some minor things. It runs strong (carb is a little finicky), but it is a real solid car that I am selling quite cheap to pay for another car.On Sep-20-14 at 13:31:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had quite a few emails asking if the original engine goes with the car. It would be a shame to see the original engine get separated from the car. So, yes one car, two engines, the one in the car and the original engine. It might be possible for us to unbolt the passenger seat and set the original engine down there and put the seat on top for shipping or sometimes another arrangement can be made with the shipper.
