Original Air Conditioned car When I purchased this car from the previous owner I learned that it had been in storage since 2007 and never driven. Numerous small items needed to be addressed to get the Mustang back on the road including the following: · New transmission gasket, filter and fluid – had a leaking gasket · New transmission “O” ring on filler tube · Flushed trans lines · New master cylinder · Complete flush of old brake fluid · New front left brake cylinder · Drum brakes adjusted · Points set to .025 · Flush of fuel tank and lines · New alternator v-belt · New cap and rotor · Carb adjustment for fuel/air · Engine oil/filter Items tested and working: · Engine start, drive, temp and oil pressure · Transmission 1, 2, D & R · Transmission shift points, and kick down during a drive · U-joints · Carb choke · Exhaust and tail pipes (needs a muffler) · Front end suspension and steering components – all tight, handles great during a drive · Rear end suspension · Lap belts · Radiator and cap · Fuel, temp, alt, and oil gauges · Speedometer · Heater and fan controls · AM radio · Wipers · Turn signals · Hazard signals · Brake lights · Backup lights · Interior mirror · Duel side mirrors. All windows go up and down. Door openers and locks The GOOD: · Starts, runs and drives excellent · Smooth acceleration and shift points · Stops (with the repairs performed on the 4 drum brakes) · Seats, dash, dash pad, door panels, head liner of the interior are all in great condition · Floor boards, frame rails, trunk, firewall, shock towers, and fuel tank are in excellent condition, no patches or repairs – see photos · Doors open and shut smooth. Clean Ohio title The BAD: · Needs a paint job. The paint is dull, scratched, bubbled in a few spots, and is overall seen better days. · Vinyl top was removed and was not prepped and painted correctly causing numerous paint bubbles over the entire roof. · Drivers side rear quarter panel behind the door has an “old” repair · Needs a muffler Happy bidding and good luck!
