1974 Corvette Convertible with more powerful L82 engine and desirable M-21 Close Ratio 4-Speed Transmission. Last model with true dual exhaust and no smog pump or catalytic converter, great engine sound. Matching removable hard top and new white soft top. All original numbers matching drive train. Recent Candy Red (039) paint job is near perfect and a real head turner. Photos do not do justice to the beauty of this paint job. Original optional equipment includes: working factory heater, electric windows, great sounding AM/FM radio, power steering and power brakes. Air conditioner needs a new compressor and it is recommended that the system be upgraded to R134 refrigerant (estimated cost $1,000). Odometer shows 52,000 miles. I can not verify the mileage but the condition of the vehicle appears to support it. Looks and runs great. Body and suspension are tight. This car has been taken care of, has always been garaged and has never seen snow. Frame on restoration. Very clean interior with new carpet, wood inserts and trim. Leather seats show little wear. Doors and body have new weather-stripping. Main engine wiring harness recently replaced along with hood latching hardware, rear deck hardware and most tarnished chromed parts. The undercarriage shows no corrosion and is showroom clean. The Goodyear Eagle GA tires are near new. Has correct Rally Wheels with new chrome rims. Includes a new inside car cover. This classic Corvette Stingray is in good enough condition and inexpensive enough to be your daily commuter and also shows well at car shows. It will also make a great weekend cruiser. This Corvette will only go up in value. I have seen Corvettes in this condition go for $29,000 recently.
