Vehicle Detail
1969 Plymouth Valiant 100Super Clean Western CarHello Mopar fans! Here is a really nice car I found here in Spokane Washington. I don't have all of it's history but the person I bought it from has had it for many years and did not drive it during the winters. This is a VERY low option original car, it has manual brakes, manual steering, no air conditioning, or any other power robbing or weight adding options, not even carpeting, it still has the factory rubber floor matte! Just a steering wheel, a drive train, and an am radio! Being one of the lightest and stiffest platforms Mopar ever offered, it would make a perfect platform for just about any performance build, from Pro Touring to a drag car, or drive it just as it is for a nice little set of classic wheels that gets excellent fuel mileage. One thing is for sure, you don't find them this clean very often these days, these once common cars are now getting quite rare to find. It has had one older repaint in the factory color, the front seat has been reupholstered in a non original pattern, the rear seat is original and looks like it was never used. The rubber floor matt is almost perfect, just a hole where the drivers feet sit, and that is hidden by a floor matt. The dash pad has one crack to the left of center but is otherwise nice. The headliner is very nice with one small "V" shaped hole from something sharp puncturing it above the driver (about 1/2"). There are a few blisters in the paint about the size of a dime in the drivers and passenger rocker just behind the doors way down low, and a couple similar blisters in the lowest part of each fender dog leg. These are very minor and my guess is that they are just due to poor paint prep in those areas when it got painted years ago, very isolated and not a rusty mess like you see in eastern cars. The floors and frame are absolutely mint and virgin, they were factory undercoated and still have all the factory undercoating with no new rattle can touch ups. The bumpers are really nice, and the trim is complete and in good shape with a few scrapes and dings. The engine is grimy as I have not made any efforts to doll it up, it runs strong and the car shifts nice, runs and drives quiet and smooth ,and goes down the road straight, it could be driven anywhere no problem. That's about it, the pictures tell the rest of the story. Not that it matters much with a slant 6 Valiant but there is no fender tag on this car, it was MIA when I bought it. If you have any questions please ask before bidding. I can send additional pics if needed 801-940-2689 Scott *I will be away at the end of the week and won't be able to answer questions quickly after Thursday.
