One owner since 1986. Driven regularly, lovingly maintained (not "restored"): no visible dings/damage; fine top condition, good glass, weatherseals, good body seams, tight -no rattles, nothing broken: everything works. Great cruiser, unbelievable performance! IMHO, looks, drives and handles as well as a full restoration: numerous car-shows trophy winner (Peoples Choice, Best in Show, Shine 'n Show Blue Ribbons) FRESH remanufactured (not just rebuilt) to OEM: correct '396', dyno-tuned to perfection. No visible VIN due to engine decking (bored 0.30 over to accomodate correct replacement heads). Now sporting custom headers, upgraded ignition & carb. (improves performance significantly). All other major engine parts are OEM/correct/new (i.e. radiator, o-flow tank, eng. accessories). Shiny, fresh OEM red paint (9/10). Aftermarket: SS brakes, digital clock, power antenna, A/R Mag wheels (w/locks). Very complete MX records, history: major drive train & mech. parts replaced/rebuilt: engine (complete R&R), front BB springs & rear suspension, yokes, trailing arms, 4-spd. trans. w/Comp. clutch, 4:11 diff'l, steering box, etc. BUYER gets all OEM Manuals (Assembly, Shop w/65 update, Parts) Photos, PLUS many OEM used/new/replacement parts. Known defects: w/wiper abrasion at lt. upper (original) windshield. Underside-top padding worn, front carpet & mats need replacing. Seats show some wear but look good. Minor leakage at transm. thru-shaft seal. Definitely NOT an overrestored, un-original, overpriced garage-queen.
