For sale is a 2005 Volkswagen Passat GLS TDI. It runs and drives 100%, is very clean and fuel efficient and is being sold with no reserve. The 2.0L four cylinder turbo charged diesel engine purrs along without a miss, fluid loss or smoke. The timing belt was changed at 116080 miles (see sticker). The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation or slipping. The brakes, steering and suspension are without issue. No exhaust leaks. No "check engine" or warning lights. The exterior is a glossy silver with no dents or dings. You might find a scratch if you look hard enough. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 25% tread (see pic). The windshield is crack and chip free. The lights and lenses are bright with no cracks. No body rust. The interior is black carpet and Volkswagen leatherette seats. The front seats are heated. Both the carpet and seats are in good condition and are free from wear areas, stains or rips. All the power options such as windows, side mirrors, cruise control, sunroof, etc. are working as designed. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. There is a factory sound system with CD. No issues. This is a very nice 2005 Passat TDI. There are absolutely no mechanical problems and no indication of any impending problems. The new owner will be able to drive home, with confidence, no matter where they live. These diesel models have been known to go on forever.
