Vehicle Detail
This is a 1969 Honda 90, which I have owned for many years. I did a complete restoration down to virtually every NOS nut, bolt, and spoke. To the best of my recollection, every piece with the exception of the tires and tubes, is original or NOS. I have done a thorough rebuild on the motor, which has less than 20 miles on it. It will need a new battery and some carburetor work, as I haven't started it in some time. If you contact me, I will be happy to tell you in detail what I believe the motorcycle needs. I maintained this scooter as an indoor "museum piece." It has only a couple of minor blemishes, such as some cracking around the leg shield bolts, a crack under the plastic headlight bezel, and a broken cable bracket on the front fender. Those things simply happened with time, and they are not the result of abuse or sun exposure. The seat, speedo, exhaust, cables, spokes, plastic parts, and many other items were purchased from a local Honda dealer many years ago, and are simply no longer available. The scooter is probably worth more in parts than my reserve. I have a California title (pink slip), which expired many years ago and is out of the DMV system. The buyer will have to arrange and pay for any transportation of this item. I welcome a personal inspection. If you are truly an interested buyer, please call me at 760-596-9891, and I will answer any questions. I want the buyer to be confident that they are getting what they expect and that they are making a sound purchase. This motorcycle is offered for sale locally and subject to sale outside of Ebay before end of auction. Thank you, Jeff. This is a relisting as the previous high bidder failed to complete his obligation. Don't miss one of the nicest Honda 90s out there, for the second time.
