Offered for sale is a 1987 300 SDL Mercedes long wheel base sedan. This car was struck while parked by someone backing out of the parking space next to it and sustained damaged to both drivers side doors. Center Post was not damaged. No other damage to this vehicle. It has a recently rebuilt Fuel Injector system, which cost $1,000. The vehicle runs very strong for a diesel, much better than any 5 cylinder diesel I have owned before, and I have owned several. The long wheel base, and the nearly 4,000 lb weight, gives it one of the best rides I have ever had. It cruises for long distance at any highway speed and has no problem with any hill. The engine uses no oil, and appears to get around 26 miles per gallon. I wanted to fix it as I love these cars, but find I am in desperate need of a truck at this time. It would not cost a lot of money to restore this vehicle to beautiful condition. Bidder responsible for pick up, or arranging shipping, if more than 100 miles from this location.
