Presently owned by a mature gentleman who purchased it from the retired original owner. It was always very well maintained properly garage stored and driven in season locally on nice fair weather days hence the very low mileage. The Details; This 1966 Mustang has its factory original Ivy Dark Forest Green metallic paint still intact. It has a straight rock solid original body with factory panel fit no panels to my knowledge were replaced. The only issue with body and paint is the passenger side front fender has slight dent and there are a very minor few paint bubbles on the very bottom of that same fender. I was told not to repaint that fender due to the cars originality but had an estimate of 500. to make it perfect. The chrome front and rear bumpers are in is in very nice clean original condition. The stainless trim, emblems, glass, are also in very nice original condition. Door handles and gas cap look beautiful as well. It has it original 4 lug 14” steel wheels with original date coded hubcaps intact with new Firestone radials installed. The black bucket seat interior is a timewarp as well and remains in excellent original condition. It has excellent black buckets seats virtually no wear on them, back seat was never used, headliner is excellent, dash is excellent, carpets are clean, drivers door panel has slight age to it as shown but still looks nice remember it is original. It has a wonderful condition chrome day/nite rear view mirror and the inside of the glove box is excellent with original sticker intact, the very cool emergency hazard light switch & courtesy light does work. Seat belts are date coded originals. A proper fitting Mustang stereo upgrade was installed without any mod to dash. The manual floor shifter with original wood shift knob is intact as it came from the factory and the beautiful original steering wheel is excellent. It is just a sweet classic 60’s interior that makes you feel like a teenager again when you are sitting behind the wheel of this sweet classic Mustang. The engine compartment has amazing original details thru-out. Perfect rust free shock towers. All the factory assembly line chalk markings are perfectly intact and present please see pix. The trunk has a new Firestone full size spare tire and correct trunk mat. The chassis is amazing rock solid zero rust ever with excellent floors, the subframe rails are beautiful rock solid no typical issues to contend with. The Mechanics; The heart of this 1966 Mustang is its super low 41k original miles straight-six cylinder engine that runs smooth, quiet and has excellent fuel economy and good power on the road. The manual 3 speed transmission shifts like butter smooth and tight.
