Vehicle Detail

Very nice 1969 Pontiac LeMans convertible - GTO tribute. I have owned this car for over 3 years, it is a great driver, solid, drives and stops straight like it should. When I bought the car I was told: 350, TH400, power steering, power brakes with front disc, RetroSound stereo with amp and kicker subwoofer in trunk, New tires and brakes (front disc), new bushings and steering components, new exhaust with glasspacks, new interior and convert top, new bumpers, all correct badging, rear spoiler, rebuilt original 350 engine and TH400 transmission, solid floors and trunk, all original body panels. I do not have any prior owner receipts or any other information on the history. I have put about 5,000 miles on the car while I have owned it. Actual mileage unknown, I assume it is 127K. I added the Judge stripe, put in a new radiator, replaced the the fuel sending unit, new parking brake cables, new horns, new turn signal cancel cam, new ignition switch, added tach and guages, new door latches and hinge pins, rear seat belts, and had about 70% of car repainted (paint on car was pretty new but some panels had been poorly sanded and did not look as good as I wanted). Added 2" longer driver seat mounting rails (I am 6'4"). I found one patch panel in floor under rear seat botton on flat part on driver side, approx 12"x10". Sheet metal is very straight and fits very well, hood has typical A body fit. This is not a show car, it is a very nice driver that gets tons of attention. I have owned more than 30 old cars, from projects to show quality, I have never had one that got more attention and positive comments than this one - I am always honest that it is not a true GTO, but in most cases people do not care - I was at a Pontiac club meeting and 3 GTO owners told me how nice my GTO was, even after I told them it was a clone. Just finished my 66 Nova SS so looking to sell the Pontiac.
