Vehicle Detail
This is a nice example of 1980's American Muscle Car History. The car runs and drives down the road as it should. There are no vibrations, no brake pulsation, no pulling to the left or the right under acceleration, braking, or highway cruising. The a/c blows ice cold, the T tops are in nice shape and do not leak (although I never take it out in the rain), but when it gets hand washed there is no leaking at the T Tops--the interior stays perfectly dry when hosing it down, soaping it up, and rinsing and drying it off during its hand washes. You see in the photo's the title with "A" Actual miles. The car is driven very rarely and currently shows 46,563 miles, which may slightly increase if we have a nice day or two before I sell the car. I have lost my garage space for it, and although this is not a "must sell", I would like to sell the car soon. I recently purchased a 1965 Corvette 396 Roadster, and the Buick will no longer have its inside storage. That is the primary reason for the sale, I just simply do not have the space for the car at this point in my garage, and I do not want to keep it outdoors. The car has been adult owned, never at a race track, never abused, and always treated with respect. It was modified just under two years ago, only a couple thousand miles ago, with an upgraded turbo charger, custom built transmission with enhanced clutches and a 2200 Stall Converter, fuel injectors, down pipe and stainless dual exhaust, enlarged aluminum front mount intercooler, MAF, and is currently pushing a comfortable round about 400hp to the wheels. The modifications are mild and tasteful, and not designed for the track or abuse, just some extra horsepower for summer street fun and enthusiasm. These cars were pretty under powered at just over 250hp when new, and the minor enhancements make the car a real treat to lean into on your favorite county route or Interstate. The throttle response is smooth and powerful, and is sure to put a smile on your face as the turbo reaches boost and plants you back in your seat. I welcome any questions, any requests to see the car, anything at all that may help you better understand your interest in this beautiful Grand National. I cannot imagine disappointment, if you are within reason on your expectations. The car is a crowd pleaser everywhere it goes. Whenever it comes out from under its car cover, and out of the garage, it gets tons of attention and praise. Please keep in mind, this car is a 1987 and we are in the year 2014--it is 27 years old and is not a brand new car. If you have knowledge of these cars, and are realistic about MINOR blemishes, you will not be disappointed to have this one in your collection for weekend and summer satisfaction. I believe that the pictures say much more than I can say here, so I will leave it at that, and look forward to your questions, concerns, and inquires. Thank you for looking. I look forward to your inquiries.
