Vehicle Detail

I have replaced my reliable Ford Heavy Duty F250 4WD with a slightly younger diesel truck to pull cargo on long distances. We use this truck to plow snow until the end of December and then it is washed, waxed and stored for the remainder of the winter as I head to the South Western U.S. The 460 (7.5l) engine runs strong and this truck has only 76,700 miles on it! That is very low for this age of truck. This truck has alloy wheels, fabric interior, great A/C and heater and an AM/FM/Cassette radio. Cruise control works great as does the tilt wheel, power windows and door locks with remote control. The truck has been Ziebarted and the box is Rhinolined making it almost indestructible for hauling materials that won't slide around like plastic box liners. The fiberglass top is in great shape however the latches on the rear vent windows may need some work. There is an interior light as well as a third brake light on this cap. A white truck plowing snow can disappear so I have put a premium commercial grade light bar with FIVE halogen bulbs and rotating mirrors so that you can be sure you are seen and meet Michigan law for having a rooftop light for plowing. Up front is a BOSS Pro-Plow RT3 8'6"straight blade to seriously move the snow. My drive is 2.5 miles long so the blade went down and I just drove so there isn't the typical damage that you'd see from plowing when someone goes back and forth when plowing a parking lot or yard. I never stressed this truck out but I did work it well within it's design limitations. I took exceptional care of the truck since I counted on it working when I needed it to get out for work, appointments or food so if anything sounded even slightly questionable, it was replaced. There is a fully functional starter as well as alternator included with the truck. Nothing wrong but I thought the starter was dragging (it wasn't) and the alternator sounded like a bearing was going bad (it wasn't) but I didn't want to take the chance that either or both of these components wouldn't work when I needed them the most. At one time, a previous owner had the truck outfitted with a 5th wheel hitch and I have one for that I would include in the sale if you wanted one but no mounting rails, you'll have to get those and the mount kit. If you have any questions whatsoever, please ask. This is not a new truck but it is in terrific condition and would be a great vehicle for someone that cannot afford a new truck but wants a truck they can get in, put the key in the ignition and not worry about getting where you want to be.
