This is a 1965 Mustang Convertible factory "C" code 289 two barrel car. It is an original red car and seems to have its original engine. It has had a lot of work done to it. The floors and torque boxes have been professionally replaced. The quarters are all original and are super clean along with the trunk. In fact, the car has no rot anywhere that I have seen. The engine runs strong and the tranny shifts super smooth. The brakes have a new master cylinder and new wheel cylinders. The car is still somewhat of a project. It is a power top car and needs a new top and top cylinders. Also some of the gauges and lights are not working and need to be restored. The rear valence and front apron behind the bumper are missing. Also the shifter is junk and must be replaced. The 2-barrel carb is also giving me a problem and it is sometimes hard to start and then stalls. I think it is the accelerator pump . The paint is decent driver quality and the pony interior needs new seat covers and door panels. The carpet and dash have been replaced. There are a lot of extra parts that go with the car. Overall, this is a super solid 1965 Convertible that needs no metal work, but it is still a minor project and with a little work it would make a nice car. I don't think you could find a more solid mustang for the price.
