Up for auction is a 1976 Dodge B100 Tradesman van It has a 318 V8 and a 727 automatic transmission. Doesn't leak a drop of anything and runs great. The engine does use a quart of oil between oil changes but that's to be expected with an older vehicle like this. Has swivel front bucket seats and original shag carpet and "wood" paneling. It has a radio which does work and it does have factory air conditioning and cruise control which do not work. The a/c comes on a blows but not cool, so it's more than likely low on freon, but since this is probably R12, this would need to be gone through and converted to R134. The van has brand new BFG tires with less that 1000 miles on them. All lights, blinkers, wipers, horn, brakes, etc all work. It does have new dual exhaust and single chamber mufflers....so it's very loud.... definitely sounds like it has something much more stout under the hood. Including with this vehicle are some extra period correct bucket seats, a new set of long tube headers, an edelbrock 4 barrel intake manifold and a brand new high performance camshaft with lifters and a new timing chain all of which have not been installed. The engine currently is running the stock intake manifold and 2 barrel carb but the plan was to convert this to a 4 barrel and add some horsepower. My loss is your gain... too many projects and I won't be able to get to this one for quite some time, so I'm passing on so that someone else can make this the 70's custom street van I had dreamed of making it.
