This early 1974 TR6 has been recently refurbished and professionally repainted, this year. Previously in a Doctors collection for 20 years, the car is a very nice driver quality example. In addition to the new deep red paint, this TR also has a new Robbins biscuit colored soft top with zip out rear window & also includes boot & tonneau covers. It has a new stainless rear bumper & all overriders have been removed. Passenger side mirror & chin spoiler were added. In the interior it has a recent dash top replacement, door panels, door top finishers, Walnut shift knob & reupholstered seats. Also new under dash panels with speakers & a Kenwood Am /!Fm CD with NP3 input & remote control. All lights, gauges and electrical systems are working properly. Minor rust was present in the forward section of both floor pans. This was cut out, replaced & MIG welded in place, seam sealed, POR 15d top & bottom before painting & priming. (Pics) Mechanically, the car starts, runs & shifts well with no smoke or transmission issues. Many recent mechanical repairs include: New Hi Torque starter & battery, new clutch master, rebuilt carbs., new front brake lines & hydraulic system drained, bled & refilled with Castrol LMA. Full tune up including wires, battery disconnect & battery box added, valves adjusted & valve cover gasket replaced, new headlight switch, sandblast a refinish Air cleaner & replace elements, replace washer pump & tank, spin on oil filter conversion, Etc. Tires are Michelin X Redlines with 7-10K miles left.
