We found this classic beauty tucked away in a garage, covered in dust & untouched for several years. After a quick clean up & tune up, however, we found the car starts & runs smoothly & turns heads everywhere we drive it. The original B-Series engine mated to a column mounted 3-speed manual transmission were replaced by the previous owner with a Datsun 210 mated to a 3-speed automatic. The result is a smooth ride that is easy & fun to drive. As the pictures reveal, the car has original Coral Red and Snowberry White paint (paint codes P914 & P913), coral red rims with silver hub caps embossed with Metropolitan emblems, whitewall tires, external deck lid & vent, white convertible top, "Bedford cord" red interior upholstery trimmed with white leather, electric windshield wipers which work great, and a "Continental-type" rear-mounted spare tire with hubcap cover embossed with the Metropolitan emblem. The speedometer shows 76232 original miles & still works. The car was stored in a garage by the previous owner, but has small rust spots in both doors, the grill & bumpers, & the engine compartment.
