I have a 1974 international Scout II 4X4 up for bids. its pretty much original. has the 345 V8 with an automatic transmission. power steering and power brakes. Its shows 40K on the odometer. Has had only one repaint. The driver's seat is torn so I threw on a seat cover. The Scout starts right up and runs real good with no strange noises, leaks or smoke. fun to drive. The top comes off. It also comes with a matching brush guard. My mom inherited this Scout about 3 months ago from my Uncle, who lived in Colorado. He used this to go fishing but it was not his daily driver and was kept inside when not in use. My Uncle bought it used in the mid 80's. We had it transported to us here in Enid,OK. When it showed up, it ran rich so we had the carburetor rebuilt. Runs perfect now. We bought some tail light lenses (old ones were cracked) and a seat cover (driver side seat was torn). I drove the Scout around today about 2 hours, and it had no problems. Seems good enough to drive anywhere. This looks to be a good solid running Scout. We really don't know much more about it than what I have written, But if you need to know something, just ask. My mom is 84 and is on a fixed income and needs to sell this, so please no tire kickers.
