Vehicle Detail
We are selling a 1950 Studebaker Champion four-door that is a 2 time barn find car, a true survivor. It is a very interesting car with lots of documents about its history. It was owned by one family from 1950 till 1996. It was driven from 1950 till 1972. It was parked in a barn in 1972 where it stayed until 1996. In 1996 it was bought and given as a Christmas present to a man who had no interest in it. He put it in his garage until recently when he remodeled his house and I bought it. All of the owners are listed. And even the name of the salesman that sold it new! It has registration papers from the 1960s and 70s. And registration papers where it changed hands by inheritance in 1985. A photo album with pictures of the day it was pulled out in 1996. Hand written and typed notes about its history. There is also an original service information card that came with the card new in 1950 with specifics about oil, tire pressure, battery, etc. The car itself is in good shape it is all there I don't know of any pieces that are missing. The only rust holes on the car is in the trunk area where the spare tire was. The interior is almost perfect. When we wiped the dust off the chrome on the dash it shined like new. Like I imagine it was in 1950. The motor runs great, it has all of its gears, shifts good, and the brakes work. This is not a fence row fixer upper. You can test drive it around the block, then drive it onto your trailer and take it home. Please contact me with any questions you have thanks, Joe
