What you have here is a very solid foundation of a project truck that has had all the hard stuff done. All original sheet metal to be in good shape for being 60 years old. I consider the truck to be 95% rust free. Solid floors, solid structure. For being 60 years old this truck is in very good shape. Truck has been lowered by using a dropped axle with front disc conversion purchased from speedway motors. For the power train a rebuilt Ford 302 V8, topped with a Weber 4V carburetor and a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission was selected. Front windshield has a crack in it. I installed new glass on passenger side, drivers is fine. Back window original and is intact no cracks. Front end has been converted to a front tilt by the previous owner. The tilt can be very easily converted back to original if needed. I have the heater core and housing just not installed as of yet. Exterior door handles have been shaved off and area has been body worked. Front grill was chromed about 3 years ago things I have done to the truck :new electric fan w/ adj thermo roller rocker arms from summit flowmaster mufflers new coker classic white wall tires plumbed trans cooler lines new metal and rubber brake lines new radiator rebuilt master cylinder new SW sweeping tach new oil, temp, volt gauges.. SW new bed strips adjustable proportioning valve new wiring harness installed rebuilt 302 V8 with edelbrock intake rebuilt trans Weber 4v carb dropped front axle front disc brake conversion kit new passenger door glass installed brand new battery purchased in mid-july brand new weather seals for the windshield,back glass, doors, and cowl vent still in package new fuel pumpnew water pumpnew tubes in tiresjust installed Pertronix electronic ignition with matching coil please feel free to ask any questions , more pictures are available.
