1940 Series 90 4 door Touring Sedan with original automatic hydramatic transmission. This car only has 37,337 original miles and I am the 4th owner. Restoration is almost complete but I have lost interest. What needs done is a new paint job the existing paint is exceptable and looks good from 20 feet but I was going to repaint. There are a few dings that need fixed but this body is solid some minor filling on the running boards. All gauges including the clock work. The original radio powers on however does not receive any stations so needs some work. I have replace many of the tubes. The interior. trunk and dash have been redone and look real nice as you can see from the pictures. The glass has no cracks. Door rubbers and trunk rubbers have been replaced. There is a new defroster heater and this car has an underseat heater that also works. All windows roll down fine except the passenger front door window only goes down half way. Vent window rubber could be replace. All lights work and this remains a 6 volt system with many spare bulbs. There is a new 6 volt battery. Bumpers have been rechromed and other trim is in decent shape with some minor pitting. There is a new gas tank and an electric fuel pump has been installed. The car drives and shifts nicely however when putting the car in reverse minor grinding occurs at times so unsure however this does not affect function of the transmission. Tires have good tread but should be replaced due to some cracking with age if you are going to drive regularly. The car has a straight eight engine. This is a nice car for the price and a real eye catcher. Some minor work and it could be a show winner. My loss will be the gem for someone else
