1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible#1 of 1 !!!!!Thats right even in 1998 the General managed to make a 1 of 1 car, unbelieveable as it sounds it is true!In 1997 and 1998 Chevrolet offered purple metallic as a colour option on the camaro, in 1998 just 16 purple camaro z28 convertibles were built. Of that 16 just ONE was built with white leather interior and a white top....and this is it!Recent brand new GM Bone White Vinyl top($950), recent complete new genuine GM AC system($1450), new front discs, tie rods etc ($500)Apart from that the car is completely bone stock, original and in great shape!EVERYTHING works as it should, power seat, windows, mirrors, top etc.All gauges work, even things like the cruise, cig lighter, stereo all work perfectly.Obviously ice cold ac to boot too!Paint is not perfect but no rust or dents, all original panels and paint, just a few chips etc as should be expected from a DRIVEN 16 year old car.Likewise the interior is all original and again not perfect but MUCH better than nearly ALL the mk 4 Camaros I have seen lately, nothing wrong anywhere bar the passenger seat bottom leather stitching has come apart a little, drivers seat is near perfect!Had a few think this is your normal thrashed and worn mk4 camaro, I dont know how else to say it but you really do have to drive it to believe just how nice this car drives, stops, steers etc. ZERO ISSUES AT ALL ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!And of course in 1998 Chevrolet finally made a beast out of the Z28 again by dropping in the fabled LS1 350 motor which even in totally stock form was good for very low 13 second quarter times and made it a pony killer yet again! Backed by the 4 speed o/d 4l60e trans going back to factory rear end with posi and 2.73 gears.Car has 118500 miles on it, original miles.May rise slightly as I drive most days.Car also has the optional 3 piece factory HARD tonneau cover in its original bag in the trunk, I have never EVER even seen one before!How many chances do you get to own a matching numbers #1 of 1 Z28 convertible, bragging rights or what!On top of ALL of that the car is a perfect driver with brand new tires and I drove 1100 miles about 2 months ago on a tour and with the 2.73 rear end posi I got 25mpg at 75mph, nothing to sneeze at today at $3.40 a gallon!Clean and clear Florida title in my name ready to go!I have owned car now for approx 2 years and at 54 years young I really need a car not quite so low down to get in and out of, a shame as this car has been the MOST reliable car I have ever owned!Only money I spent on it was essentials like AC which here in Florida is a must...lolPlease ask any and all questions before you bid!There will be a non refundable $300 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auction end and full payment within 7 days of auction end by good old cash in hand, MAJOR cashiers check or wire transfer.Shipping is new owners full responsibility but you can certainly fly in and drive home ANYWHERE!
