Vehicle Detail
2004 Dodge Dakota 4x4 Quad Cab 3.7L V6 63,000 Original Miles 5 Speed Manual Transmission VIN: 1D7HG38K14S698494 Features: 4 wheel drive with the turn of a switch Cruise control Bed Liner Husky floor mats Lund bug deflector 60-40 split folding rear seats Rear cup holder CD Player Towing package (4 prong) Pre wired for truck capa Look at my feedback, I've bought and sold several cars, boats, etc. with 100% positive feedback. I am downsizing and I no longer need the truck, otherwise it would not be for sale. I am the second owner of the truck and it has only been driven on average 6,300 miles per year. I used the truck to haul materials from lowes/home depot to my house, and tow my jet skis to the lake (15 miles away) about 5-10 times a year. Otherwise its an extra vehicle for us that's parked and maintained properly. Recent maintenance: New Goodyear Wrangler Tires 10/2013 (About 80% tread on rear and %90 tread on front)Replaced crankshaft sensor 05/2014 (common issue for the 3.7 v6)New parking brake cable 03/2014 Oil and filter change 06/2014Washed and detailed 08/2014 Things that need attention:Parking brake pads need replaced, new cable was installed but not new pads. These are a second set of brake pads that are fitted to the rear axle of the truck specifically used for the parking brake. Approximate cost is $50 if you do it yourself. Rear tailgate latch does not work without manual intervention. I will show you how to make it latch. Cost to have fixed, less than $100 at a dealer.3 spots of rust (nothing to serious). 2 spots where the previous owner had installed a bed cap, which was removed when I purchased it, and one spot in the driver side wheel well.PA state inspection was up on 5/14 and I have not taken it for inspection, since it hasn't been driven since March. It will pass with new parking brake pads, nothing else needed for inspection that I am aware of. I request that you ask all questions prior to bidding, and encourage you to come test drive the truck if you are local. Feel free to bring your mechanic, or schedule an appointment with a local mechanic to look it over. The truck is in great running order, with no known mechanical faults. With that being said, it is a USED truck and is being sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. The truck has a lien on which will be satisfied once the reserve has been met. I will have a clean and clear PA title for you when you come to pick it up. A non-refundable $1000 PayPal deposit must be made within 48 hours of auction close. Note that the deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances, this prevents you from wasting my time and money! All additional funds are due within 5 days of auction close. Buyer is responsible for all transfer fees, and title/bill of sale must be notarized at buyers expense on pick up. I will let the pictures speak for themselves: On Aug-05-14 at 15:18:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Upon further inspection, by suggestion of someone who was interested in the truck, I've poked around at the rust on the drivers side rear fender well (in the bed, where the wheel well meets the seam of the bed) and the rust is through the sheet metal. This is a 1 3/4 inch by 2 inch area of rust. The area that is through the sheet metal is approximately 1 inch by 1/2 inch. Again I try to be as honest as possible with my listings, ask any questions, and feel free to come and see the truck in person. On Aug-06-14 at 06:12:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Since I've had several requests for additional pictures of the rust as well as the undercarriage, I figured I would post the pictures here. This is an East Coast truck from day 1, I do not think the rust is that bad considering it is a 10 year old truck, but I also want to be as honest as possible. Here are the pictures:
