I'm the second owner as of a year ago I purchased the truck at an estate sale where surprisingly enough the original owner which had been deceased since 1996, wife had paid the registration every year even through she never drove it. The old Camper although all intact was dry rotted and not usable. This was clearly his dream retirement truck indicated by the camper still having water in the holding tank and propane in the tank. It even had all the camp gear, silverware and dishes ready to go. The tailgate was in the garage wrapped in 1968 news paper and perfect. As you can see from the pictures the truck truly only needs paint if that is your preference or you could just clear coat over the patina and have the nicest original survivor truck in town. The estimate to de-trim including removal of all the doors cab from frame and bed etc. and paint correctly is $4800.00 that price coupled with new molding kit from LMC would make the truck show room floor perfect.
