Up for auction highly desirable Carrera 3.0 targa, #372 out 479 built in 1976. The Carrera was a limited 2 year production euro only 911. The motor is built on same case design as turbo Carrera and did not use the troublesome 2.7 cases used in the rest of the 74-77 911 production. These cars are similar to later SC but are more powerful and lighter. This one obviously needs some serious love. Car was imported by a professor as grey market in the mid 90's. Car as imported was spectacular but for reasons that are not understood owner decided to add turbo flares, decided he wanted wider fenders and things went down hill in a hurry. The good news is this is all repairable. Car does not currently run as it has not been driven in some time. the pictures tell the story - this is a complete restoration project.
