This is a 1986 Chevy Scottsdale C10 Stepside, V8, automatic, p/s, p/b, a.c., alarm system. I got this truck from an estate. The owner was an older gentleman, whose son put this up for sale. The son said he didn't know much about the truck, but did tell me that he thought the engine a 350 engine with approx 20,000 miles on it. The motor runs very smooth, the transmission shifts good. I bought this truck to restore, but I just don't have the time to properly invest in it at this time. I've only driven it about 25 miles, but it seems to drive good for an older truck. I have checked it over, but haven't found any rust. It does have some scrapes and dings in the doors and the right rear fender, which I've pictured, but nothing real serious. The truck came out of California. It looks to me that it has all of the original paint, which has faded to give it a slightly patina'd look to it that many people are looking for. It does have some cracks in the dash pad, but has a dash mat over the dash to cover it. There are a few cracks in the original seat cover. It has an aftermarket stereo that someone put in that doesn't work. The a.c. is hooked up, but missing the belt. I don't know if works or needs work.
