The only thing on this entire truck that shows it's miles is the odometer. Ive co managed a large ford authorized fleet maintenance repair facility for 7 years,I know the difference between a real good one, an ok one,and a bad one.This is a real good one. Buying a high mile ford was not a real concern but it had to be real clean and not kid thrashed inside like many are.I looked a long time to find this one with the optional Heavy duty towing package.Most came with a regular light duty 4 pin tow package.The HD tow package came with a 7 pin and 4 pin hookup with trailer brake wire and an unopened heavy duty flasher/brake control wiring kit from ford.It has the 5.4 which runs as if it has 20k miles.A perfect shifting transmission with clean red fluid,and a super quiet drivetrain with no slop at all.3.73 rears.The HD tow pac also has larger oil and trans coolers etc.Hard to find this option.I looked at ones with a third of the miles 3 times the price, that were all banged up and kid damaged inside.This truck can easily pass for 70k miles.No fluid leaks.On the road it tracks perfectly straight and true has a perfect alignment and perfect tire balance.Not the slightest nibble in the steering wheel at speeds well above legal.Absolutely everything works as it should and it has some nice options over and above the loaded Eddie Bauer standard stuff.They include the stated HD tow Pac,a canopy roll over system,sunroof ,nice heated and cooled seats,power fold 3rd row seats,power rear vents,directional and puddle light side view mirrors,premium sound with 6 cd changer,Auto dim mirror,auto climate control and the advanced trac 4x4 system.I just personally installed both new front hubs and bearings,a new left inner tie rod,premium pads all 4 wheels,and an oil change.I will put this up against an 04 with 70k miles on every aspect.There's no misses,no warning lights,no rattles no squeaks,the transmission shifts perfectly always,no bearing noise,no exhaust leaks and the front end and drivetrain was not tighter when brand new.No rust,frame is still factory black.Someone simply chipped the paint on the left rear bumper cover,that's the reported accident.They don't run like this unless extremely well serviced always,and not abused like some I've seen.Clear title in my name ,just passed NJ inspection for 2 years,and that tech couldn't believe the miles either.I bought this recently to occasionally tow my race car trailer and have my wife use it in bad weather.Only selling because my wife strongly feels its too big for her.I had her take it a few times but she's just a small car person.She drives a mini cooper.convertible.Nuff said.....I have all the original books and even the original window sticker showing all options and a price of almost 47 grand in 2004.It will need tires before the winter...that's it.Sold as is,where is in central NJ.Any personal inspection must be done before you bid or buy,please no nonsense or games.Serious buyers only.The truck will continue to be for sale until the listed deposit it received.If you are a serious buyer I am more than happy to send you my cell number,just ask. CONS,a horse shoe crack in the windshield that comes up 2 inches from the bottom under the wiper goes over 4 inches and back down 2 inches to the bottom.Not noticed unless told .Aluminum Tailgate has a few paint blisters as every single expedition did that year due to iron contamination in the aluminum.Will need tires before winter.Has 2 aftermarket monitors that power up in the headrests but the cd unit for them was removed from inside the console by the first owner.One can easily and cheaply be reinstalled all the plug ins are still there.If you need a great all weather second car,or a great tow rig,for not a lot of money, this is it,Really it makes a perfect first car. Many for sale with half the miles at twice the price that don't look or run better than this one. PROS,all above
