You are bidding on this 2003 Ford Ranger. This truck is the perfect truck for someone who needs a light weight work truck because you will get a truck that will get you to where you need to go with little money. I bought this truck for my brother who is starting his own flooring/painting company. He hasn't really done much with the painting (That was the purpose of this light weight good on gas Ranger). In all honesty, he is not even requiring any heavy duty vans that can carry much heavier cargo (carpet). This truck has 143,500 miles, but it is still a ford truck. it starts right up. There is a hard shift in the first gear sometimes the second gear. I have sent this truck to get inspected, and the result show transmission is slipping. There is nothing my mechanic knew to work on transmissions, so I am selling the truck as is. it does drives straight, has lots of power, no noises or shakes. just simply doesn't shift properly. it isn't scary. I assume because the miles are high and the truck is in the cosmetic shape of a work truck, I will let the winning bidder deal with it. Again, this truck is drivable and you will not hurt the transmission or engine or anything like that. Cosmetically, it is a truck that is 11 years old and shows its wear and tear. it is not in bad shape at all. it is actually in good shape. The A/C is ice cold and all the knobs switches etc etc for the radio and such are in perfect working order Please bid confidently.
