Vehicle Detail

Lets try this one more time, please read description. Thanks! 1971 Dodge ZombieVan Sportsman Royal. THE POLICE LIGHT BAR IS NOT ATTACHED TO THE VAN, it was just set on top for photo. This is a sweet old Van that has been well cared for. The old boy that owned it kept in under a carport thus why there is some sun fading on the hood and passenger fender as that was the sun side. They did at one point paint the hood as you can see in pictures. I did wax the hood and it brightened up a different green but was originally sun faded. He set this up as a camping, fishing rig. It does come with a top bunk bed which is not currently in the van. He has an awning set up as well which is under the bed. It has a little stove and sink with a fluorescent light above sink. The carpet kit looks like it may have been custom made. The wood all matches so it appears that was all custom made. Beds, counters, drink holders. The past owner was a master wood craftsman so I am pretty certain he took the time and care to do all this work back in the day. I was told the miles were original at 31K He also owned a 67 Chevy Pickup that had 64k original and it was obvious it was original. So I believe this to be true but have no documentation to prove it. This came from a region of Idaho that is remote country for fishing and outdoors. So it all goes along with condition, miles and what I was told. You be the judge. The paint in door jams appears to be all original. I believe the outside paint looks like the original one stage paint but that is my opinion only. This has a 318 V8 with an automatic transmission. It is a factory air van which is rare. It does need a charge it appears and I am 99% sure it has never been converted over. Doubt he ever used the a/c much in the mountain region where it is cooler. The gauges all appear to work correctly. It starts up and runs down the road great on near new Michelin tires. The heat blows hot and the wipers work, the outside lights work but a couple of the side marker lights I think need new bulbs. Front lighter is not working but it has a lighter plug in the back by tv that does. Just had a fresh oil and filter change.I have not figured out the front fog lights. I am not sure if they work or not. The back bumper does have some dents on bumper from when he hooked up whatever he hooked up? It has a working classic jensen stereo. The vehicle is 40 plus years old so the green paint is faded but the white looks pretty dang good and shined up pretty well. It does have average wear for a vehicle this age with some minor dents and nicks which you will see in pictures. The body is pretty dang straight and a clean Idaho body. Has a little typical front pillar minor rust and on back lip of roof above tire cover it has some rust pictured which is common on the old vans. But Idaho cars fair very well. Please ask questions, I am selling in as is condition but for an old van this is one of the "Good One's."I will only sell to within the United States Lower 48. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. Local pickup is fine. I also will work with your transport company on pickup. I have sold probably a dozen vehicles on eBay the past ten years. Most buyers have shipped them transport and the rest have come and picked up in person and trailered home. I always get the question............."So Dude, can I drive this Van from Idaho to Maine without any problems?" My response is...."Dude, If that is what turns you on driving a 40 plus year old vehicle across the country please feel free...but dude, do it at your own risk and there is no way I can anticipate if it will break down, get a flat tire or over heat. I do not have a crystal ball." But I can tell you I have driven it locally to work etc without any problems so far.Past transactions and current terms. I sell cash in person or wire transfer prior to pickup or have had people drive up and wire transfer same day and haul home. I want a safe transaction for both parties so THE FUNDS MUST BE CLEARED PERIOD BEFORE THE VAN GOES ANYWHERE! IF YOU DRIVE UP AND YOUR BANK MESSES UP the wire transfer plan on spending an extra night. Has not happened yet. Cash is easy, you hand me cash, I hand you clear title, you smile! You kill Zombie's! Let us talk ZOMBIES!. As you know the Government and Hollywood are preparing the world for a virus outbreak that will cause symptoms similar to what we see in Zombie movies. Yes laugh if you want, but when it happens you will want this vehicle!! This vehicle is totally set up for the Zombie Hunter. Rick, Daryl Dixon and Michonne would only be so lucky to have this. It has sleeping quarters, stove, cabinets for food storage, windows to shoot out of, blinds for cover at night and day, and this thing purrrrrs quiet like a kitten to sneak up on a herd of ZOMBIES!It comes with the bats, zombie helmet, zombie skull splitter, zombie killer machete and other zombie novelty in photos. Check your local laws on zombie splitter and machete if applicable. It has a vintage TV, a weather alert station on back counter battery operated. A Help Mobile CB Radio in black case pictured next to TV with antenna that plugs into lighter. it has lifetime United States and International Zombie Hunter Permits that are transferable.Lastly I have not mounted or attached the police light bar on top of van. I was still trying to decide if I wanted to or not. The lights do work and the light itself has wear and marks and probably could buff the plastic some, but it looks great on the van as it has the vintage wear like the van has the vintage aged look. The light bar is pictured and included with the van. If you do not want it let me know and you do not have to take it.Assume nothing and ask questions if needed and I will answer the best I can.$500.00 deposit within 48 hours from winning bidder via paypal. Balance paid in cash or wire transfer.Vehicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end if it sells local. For shipping rates my zip is 83221 and a good company out of Idaho that ships to most of the USA is Coast To Coast out of Kuna Idaho (800) 794-9009. A Youtube Video of the van was added below for your entertainment! Please....................do not make an offer without checking into shipping costs and without talking to your other half. No emotional spur of the moment stuff. Do your homework please. There are fee's charged.
