Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1969 Mustang Fastback with a totally rebuilt and upgraded 302. ( I still have everything I took off the motor, heads intake, cam, before overhauling it to give to the buyer) Vin Number: 9F02F169346. I have upgraded, fixed, and replaced many working parts. The history of the car as far as I know is that it was originally sold in Cleveland, kept in Pittsburgh and then made its way to New Jersey where I purchased the car. The car has 181,700 original miles on it however the Newly Rebuilt Engine has LESS THAN 50 miles on it. The original color was Acapulco blue with a black interior. The car is now silver with black accents and an unpainted hood. The paint is in fair condition however it has many small scratches, flakes and nicks so the car will need to be repainted in a full restoration however the paint is currently fine for protecting the sheet metal from rust. The interior is still the original black interior however I have taken out the carpet and disposed of it. The underbody and frame are in decent condition however they will need to be worked on in a full restoration. I wire brushed and extensively cleaned the floor plans on the inside of the car and sealed and painted them with with rust preventive paint. The torque boxes were cut out and replaced with welded steel plates before I owned the car. The car has front disc brakes with rear drum brakes. The engine and trans are in GREAT condition. The trans was rebuilt before I purchased the car and the engine was rebuilt in the 90's once but most recently this past summer 2013 I rebuilt the entire engine and upgraded it with an Edlebrock RPM performer top end kit and replaced or restored everything in the engine! The only components I did not replace were the block, crank shaft, and pistons but I did refurbish them and clean them extensively! The engine runs great and sounds great. The transmission is currently a c4 automatic with a B&M shifter however the car was originally a 3 speed manual from the factory and the clutch petal is still in the car which would make for an easy transition back to a manual transmission if so desired. If you have any questions for me please contact me! I would love to answer any and all of your questions! This is the list of what I have done to the car:Totally rebuilt the 302 motor with these parts:Edlebrock RPM Performer Top End Kit:Performer RPM Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft and LiftersPair of Performer RPM Aluminum Cylinder Heads (complete)Timing Cover Gasket and Seal SetCylinder Head Gasket SetRPM Air-Gap 302 Aluminum Intake ManifoldIntake Manifold Bolt KitCylinder Head Bolt SetPerformer-Link Timing SetOther Modifications: Edlebrock Red Aluminum Roller Rockers Hardend Pushrods Clevite Main Bearings and Rod Bearings Headman Elite Thermal Coated Long Tube HeadersMagnaflow 2.5 Inch True Dual Exhaust with X-Pipe and mufflers from Headers backEdlebrock Victor Series Valve CoversEdlebrock Pro-Flow Series Air CleanerNew Fuel FilterEdlebrock Thunder Series AVS Carb 650 cfmEdlebrock Aluminum High-Flow Water Pump100 Amp Single Wire Natural Finish AlternatorNew Oil PanNew Oil PumpEngine Re-Painted Suspension Parts:Two new Lower Control Arms with Bushings on both Drivers and Passengers SideNew Upper Ball Joints on both Drivers and Passenger SideNew Sway Bar End LinksNew Drivers Side Strut RodThe car has some light rust in the underbody but is solid. Paint is in rough condition with many small scratches, flaking and nicks. Body sheet metal is in good condition with a few dings and dents and one dent at the front of the drivers side fender. Car is straight and so are body lines. Some of the weather stripping in usable condition while much of it should be replaced. Some of the weather striping is missing as well. The drivers seat fabric is torn and there is one hole in the headliner fabric. The passenger seat and rear seats are in good condition. The dash is in good condition with some cosmetic wear. The car has not been in any accidents to the best of my knowledge. I am selling this car as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Please Contact me if you have any questions or would like to come see the car!
