Vehicle Detail
1983 JEEP CJ7 LAREDO RARE SHERWOOD GREEN SURVIVOR ! This is a very rare original Laredo. It has tons of natural patina but if you're into cool old original Jeeps, this is it. The motor runs very strong and was rebuild some years ago. No engine noises or known issues. It's had many upkeep items over the years, however it still retains all the factory emissions system. The transmission and clutch were new in 2013. The carb has been rebuilt but it requires slight adjustments. The body and paint is mostly original and it shows. The patina is evident everywhere and it is awesome, in my opinion. There was one fix in the driver floor pan, however all the structural supports are factory and solid. All the other panels appear to be factory. Most of the decals are original. Factory chrome wheels, chrome grill overlay with pin stripe, front chrome bumper, and rear bumperettes present. The frame is rock solid original. Factory stock stance. Good brakes too. The interior is stock as well. The lower front seats have been repaired years ago but all factory Laredo items intact. Leather wrapped steering wheel, leather grab bar, dash pad, pin stripped dash. There is a aftermarket radio but it is currently not fully functional. The tilt steering wheel works great. Factory nutmeg center console. All the gauges, clock and tach are functional. The gas gauge moves but is less than accurate. Original factory nutmeg hardtop and steel doors to go with the Jeep. Overall this is a good, not perfect original rare Sherwood Green Laredo. Drive it "as is" or repaint and love it either way. Thank you and Happy Jeepin !
