I am listing this for the estate of a deceased friend of mine. The bike does come with a title available and can be transferred to the winning bidder through the executor and a title notary. I will help do the schedule coordination and setting up the the meeting with the interested parties. The notary is only a couple miles from the pickup location so its just a matter of getting together hopefully within two to three weeks of auction end. Now the particulars: 1982 Honda GL 1100A Goldwing Aspencade, 50,638 original miles. The bike was last registered in March of 2008 when at that time my friend acquired a newer and larger Goldwing and this one was retired to the back of the garage. As far as running condition I did manage to get it started and it did not idle/run without the choke being on. I took it out for about a half hour ride and it did seem to run a little better but still would not idle and seemed to lug at the slower speeds and lower rpm's but smoothed out at the higher . The local Honda guru seemed to think it is a slow jet problem from sitting so long. Not sure if the problem could be taken care of by just running for awhile longer or not. As far as other conditions, the tires have about 50% tread front and back. The front and back brakes work nicely, Turn signals, hi-lo headlight beam , rear brake light all works. The horn does not work and I did not try to troubleshoot. The am/fm radio turns on but not sure how the tuner works so I cant confirm it works as it should. The electric air shocks pump works, the front and rear shocks pump up but the front shocks seems to bleed off after a period of time. The battery holds a charge. The chrome has some pitting on the engine and some other places on the body chrome. Comes with two keys and as far as I could tell all the locks are keyed alike. The location is zip 17319 Etters, PA which is about halfway between Harrisburg and York PA. a couple miles off interstate 83. A $100 deposit will be due within 72 hours after auction close and the balance in cash at the time of pickup to be arranged within no more than two to three weeks when our schedules mesh.The winning bidder is responsible for any expenses and/or fees involved with title transfer.
