1984 Turbo Diesel Mercedes COUPE. 140,000 miles. Replaced entire A/C system. EVERY PART, there is NOT ONE OLD AC part in this car. Also replace Heater Core. If you know anything about these cars, you know that's a huge job. 20+ hours. Spent over $4500.00 on the AC and Heater Core. If any other Mercedes that is for sale that says AC just needs a recharge. DON'T BELIEVE IT; if it doesn't work, it needs to be replaced. They are OLD and unreliable. If you want reliable AC, make sure it's new. All parts used were OEM. All purchased from AutoHaus in Arizona. I didn't cut corners. My plan was to keep this car. But, plans change. Tires have less than 5,000 miles on them as do the brakes. New Cruise Control Module. Cruise works perfectly. Power windows work with the exception of the driver's rear. I don't know the problem. Never bothered to figure out. Paint about 10 years old but shines like it's a lot newer. Car Garaged for most of its life. I only kept outdoors in summer. In garage or storage in winter. Radio works. all directional work. All gauges work. Battery less than 2 months old. Extra heavy duty battery. Valve adjustment two months ago. Sun roof works perfectly. No tears in seats. Previous owner foolishly cut into door panels to add speakers that were never hooked up. The Bad/ or if I don't sell these are the things I'd address Antenna doesn't go down. Driver's rear window doesn't go down Change glow plugs. I think one is bad. But car starts with a click of the starter. There's no cranking to start. This car starts in an instant (Obviously not in the dead of winter, needs to crank a tiny amount when below 20 degrees) Small water leak that I think is coming from sun roof gasket. Since car is always garaged or in covered tent/garage I haven't searched where it's coming from.. I have put considerable money into this car. It is a lot better than most. You could use as a daily driver, but, it's in a lot better condition than that. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction early. First time bidders please email me first.
