I bought this 996 back in November 2013,.. it had been hit in the front right corner, but the damage was mostly cosmetic with no frame damage. The last 4 pictures I'll post is how it looked before the repairs so you can see how light the damage was,.. there was no frame damage and the car was still 100% square. There is no history of accident on Experian's AutoCheck before this accident. I replaced the front right fender and the hood with factory new parts and found an excellent condition used front right Xenon headlight and bumper cover. The shop I used did a fantastic job of painting the car and it really looks fantastic. This may not be a car that a Porschephile would buy just because it has had some body panels replaced and paintwork done but someone is going to get a really nice 2003 996 with only 42,956 miles on it. Below are the option that are shown on the option code sticker however it also has full leather seats and I believe it also has a leather dash but the leather dash is not listed in the option codes,.. I spoke to my local Porsche dealer and the service manager there told me that it is not uncommon for that to be left off the listed options even though it has it,... I'll post pictures of the dash as well so you will be able to see the stitching on the dashboard. I also want to note that the two pictures that show the headlights both show small dark spots higher up on the hood,.. these spots are not actually on the hood,.. it must be some sort of photographic effect due to the sun I would guess. The car has the following options: Xenon Headlamp Package Power Seat Package U.S. Standard/Emissions Wheel Caps with Colored Crest 18" Lt Alloy Carrera Wheel Heated Front Seats Bose High End Sound Package Black Mats - Porsche lettering Remote CD Changer (6 Disc) The tires are Continental Sport Contact 2, fronts are 225/40ZR18 with 6/32" tread remaining and the rears are 295/30ZR18 with 7/32" tread remaining (new tread depth 10/32"). I do not know the original owner but it appears that he took very good care of the car, I surmise this from the fact that it appears the wheels were removed to be cleaned as there is no permanent brake dust build up on the inner part of the wheels. To me this indicates a particularly conscientious owner and looking through the service book that comes with the car it appears that he did all the required services. Other than the body work I had a wheel alignment done and only the right rear was slightly out of toe spec so that was put back into specification. Engine oil and filter were just changed at 42600 miles as well as the gear lube. Lastly I just put a brand new battery in the car as the one that was in it needed to be replaced. This 996 has already gone through the re-inspection process that is required in order to reinstate it to road use and it comes with a newly issued TN state title which will not require any special process for you to re-title in your name in your state.Current average retail for this car is $32,500 from a dealer.
