1964 Ford F-100 Custom Cab -34,770 Original Miles! -All Original Truck! -Gorgeous! Up for auction is what must be one of the nicest original 1964 F-100s in the country. Originally from California, this truck only has 34K original miles on it, and has been recently repainted in the original color, Caribbean Turquoise (code B on the Warranty Plate pictured.) It still has the original engine, the 223 1V inline 6-cylinder engine (code J,) as well as transmission, a Borg Warner T-98 4 speed manual (code F.) Bench seat is also original. Mechanically, this truck is very nice. Fires right up and runs great, and shifts through all gears well. Goes down the road straight and is a wonderful cruiser! The exterior of this truck is absolutely gorgeous, as can be seen in the pictures. There is no rust whatsoever, and we have detected no signs of bondo or any rust repair. Chrome is also in great condition. I have included pictures of the underside of the truck as well, which does not dissapoint at all. It is clear that there was quite a bit of money spent of the restoration of this vehicle. There is all new wood in the bed of the truck, many new suspension parts, and the frame was also stripped and painted. The taillights are new, the exhaust is new, and the front and rear bumpers are in perfect shape, as is the grille. Tires have low miles on them. Emblems are also in awesome shape! The interior is also in great shape for being 50 years old. it has a new headliner, and all the paint looks great. The original bench seat does have some wear on the passenger side, and there is a tear on the drivers side. For a perfect show truck, it could reupholstered, though I think it would be a shame to get rid of such cool patina! Radio also looks great, as do the door handles and window rollers.
