Vehicle Detail
Condition of the Pacer is excellent. It has a couple of scratches on the roof of the car and there are a couple of spots where the paint has worn thin from polishing too much from previous owner. The car also has a small leak in the power steering chamber that needs to be fixed. The car has the 232 ci 6 cyl. engine and all parts are original to the car. The AM radio is vintage to the car, as are the mirrors, upholstery, spare tire, and hub caps. There is no rust anywhere on this car, the underneath of the car is rust free too. The car has a brand new battery, new brakes, oil, spark plugs, air filter and cap/rotor. This car has had only one driving owner. Original owners manual included along with many receipts and records of the car's maintenance. Car is sold AS IS. Buyer has 48 hours to make deposit, otherwise I reserve the right to list the car again and terminate winning bid. Once the total funds for the car are verified, I will Fed Ex car's documents including Title. I have many pics not shown here and a video of the car starting and running. Any questions please ask. Shipping: The shipping will be paid by the winning bidder. I will only except a PAY PAL payment for car. Once I receive payment I will FED EX all documents including Title pertaining to vehicle. Buyer is to make arrangements for shipping within 3 days.On Jun-29-14 at 18:55:24 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to questions, some additional info: As the pictures show, there is some fading of the original green paint around the rear hatch and doors. The ac blows but isn't cold and as the pictures show, the fan speed selector switch is broken. The radio is the original as far as I can tell, but doesn't work. The car is in excellent condition for a 38 year old vehicle, but is by no means perfect or show quality. On Jul-01-14 at 07:29:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for the numerous email inquiries. To answer some more questions from interested bidders: This car is in great condition for a 38 year old car, but it does need a little work before being used every day. IMO not much is needed to make it a daily driver: PS need to be fixed, AC fixed, the tires may be 20 years old or more so they should be checked out and maybe replaced, new rubber seals around the doors and hatch, hatch struts, front bench seat reupholstered (or duct taped!), radio. This car is not currently a daily driver, it was purchased a year ago to fix and have fun with. The car has been driven sparingly in the last year, only a few miles around my neighborhood and not in heavy traffic or at highway speeds. Some have asked if it could be driven across the country. I would want to have the car looked at by a mechanic before I attempted to drive it a long distance. I don't know if any other issues would arise once driven at 80 mph or over long distances. Thanks and keep the questions coming!
