This bike was bought in Everet Washington on 12-11 1989. The normal dealer pre-sale was done assembled and test fired to make sure it is ready to go. The fuel shut off and the gas run out of the carb. Eric Hanson bought the bike to ride when he got the time. He never did get the time and put the bike into storage. I found the bike in Missoula Montana. Eric is now in poor health and will never be able to ride the bike. I cleaned out the tank as it had the dealer gas from 1988 in it. It is clean now. I pulled the bowl off the carb without removing it from the bike, Clean and perfect. I have not fired or put fuel in the bike. The oil looks great. I am sure this bike has never been ridden. There are a few small scuffs from storage. That said this could be the best 1988 Honda XR600R in the world. I don't know what else to say about it, it is NEW Thanks
