Up for auction is a 2001 Honda GL 1800 Gold Wing touring motorcycle. This motorcycle was given to me in lieu of part of some money that was owed to me. This motorcycle is a salvage title. The person who purchased the bike used to work on bikes on his free time. He put a lot of work into it and assured me that the engine runs great, you just need to do a tune up, new battery/tires etc. and put it all back together, as he took all of the fairings and many parts off. I have a couple of boxes (as you can see in the pics with all sorts of parts. I also bought the Clymer 700 page manual for it, had the factory key remade for it. I tried to put the bike parts back together but I have no idea were to even begin, this requires a lot more mechanical knowledge then I have. It looks like all of the parts are there and even some little parts still in boxes that were purchased for it (only thing that seems to be missing is screws/bolts). All that to say that I am selling this motorcycle AS-IS. I have no way of guaranteeing the functionality or completeness of the bike. I am an honest seller as you can see from my feedback score and try to make sure that I provide all of the information that I have available, so bid with confidence! This would definitely be a great project bike for someone with a little more time, knowledge and patience then I have. This would also be a great parts bike either for your own bike or for parting and selling. (I believe the parts are interchangeable for 2001-2005 gl 1800 but you want to check with your local Honda shop to confirm.) This is a local pick up only. You will need to bring someone to help you load it, I will do my best to help you any way I can. I have the title in hand signed over to the person who gave it to me, along with the original sale agreement that was signed over to them. It is an Illinois salvage title, my name isn't on the title since I never bothered to attempt to get it transferred over, so it will be up to you to get that completed.
