Vehicle Detail
This car had a recent engine compartment fire. It was put out quickly, but the fire went into the fire wall into the dash. Needs repair. I've owned it almost 20 years and simply don't have the energy to get into a repair job. Car is a convertible, have the original 350 matching numbers motor, put in a clean 455CI about 6 years ago, hardly any miles on it. Heads redone, new W30 spec cam, timing chain, etc.. New interior from Year One, factory correct with Sienna brown. Car was always garaged, shows some signs of wear, not a show car, but a good solid driver. Convertible top has small rips at the pinch points, very typical of GM's. Have all the AC components, but never installed them. Will need a new windshield, new paint on hood, new dash components and wiring. On Jul-08-14 at 07:08:00 PDT, seller added the following information: This car had a recent engine compartment fire. It was put out quickly, but the fire went into the fire wall into the dash. Needs repair. I've owned it 20 years and simply don't have the energy to get into a repair job. Car is a convertible, have the original 350 matching numbers motor,100K miles on it, put in a clean 455CI about 6 years ago, hardly any miles on it. This has Ga heads so I believe it came from a 1972. Heads redone, new W30 spec cam, timing chain, etc.. Has a TH350 trani, I believe is the original, and I have a used TH400 in garage selling locally. New interior from Year One, factory correct with Sienna brown. I didn't replace the foam. Car was always garaged, never in the rain, shows some signs of wear, minor chips/dings, etc. THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR, but a good solid driver that still makes heads turn. Convertible top has small rips at the pinch points, added pictures, very typical of GM's. Have all the AC components, but never installed them. Has 15" rims and radial tires in good shape, some chips on the rims and scuff marks on beauty rings. Titled as an antique in PA in 2000 had 98K on it, has only 102K now, hardly driven. The car was originally brown, purchased from the original owner who had it painted almond, I suspect some body work was done at that time. Paint showing signs of wear, could use a new paint job, but looks great from a distance. Will need a new windshield, new paint on hood, new dash components and wiring. This was always a very dependable vehicle even when it sat for a while, little maintenance over the past years, tires, brakes, battery, etc.. replaced some of the chrome pieces over the years. Have tried to list this as honestly as possible. Lots of fun to drive, needs a good home so someone else can enjoy it.
