Up for sale is a 1981 True Barn Find. Car was pulled out of a Garage a couple months back. Car was left abandoned for 12 to 15 years due to a death. We pulled the car from garage all tires and brakes were locked up but after draining gas and changing all fluids car fired up within minutes with no rattles or knocks. Car drivetrain was completely gone through, new brake pads, calipers, hoses, and front lines. We also upgraded the tires to the modern ZR rated C4 wheels and spacers. Once we got the car going we discovered that due to it sitting the transmission was bad, all the orings had dried up. We had the original transmission irebuilt to keep all numbers matching. We installed all new plugs, wires, rotar, and cap. The motor cranks right up and does not smoke or use any oil. The only remaining issue is the carburator needs to be rebult again do to sitting for more than 12 years. All the above information is what I know of the car in the short time I have had it. I had a local garage look at the car and they recommended rebuilding the carburator. If you are looking for a nice C3 car that has potential to be a nice Sunday cruiser this is the car for you. I have since picked up a C6 Z06 car so I need to move this one to make some room in the garage. The car is also for sale locally so we reserve the right to cancel the auction.
