1950 Merc Lead Sled Project I am selling this 1950 Mercury 2 Door lead sled for a friend of mine, I have the car for viewing, the original vin plate is still on the car see the second to the last pic, it hasn't been registered since 1991 and is out of the DMV system, He can't find the title so it comes with a bill of sale, the car is set up for a SBC and turbo tranny, it is rough in everyway but could be very cool and valuable with lots of work, you get just what you see in the first 10 pics all the major body parts, rolling chassis, turbo 350, driveline, early 60's T bird front & back seats. It's NOT hidden with primer and BS so you can see what you are getting, but No top, engine, interior, glass, grill etc. etc. etc. if you don't see something in the pics or it isn't mentioned in this description then it doesn't come with it, it is what is what it is, a rolling platform for a super groovy ending, he is a senior (79) and has had it for the last 35+ years, he has lost his drivers license for health reasons and will never get this car going so he asked me to help him sell it. you know how hard these cars are to find, as you can see in the pics this is a "total project car in all ways", but it is a California car and does have the look. It has a tow bar mounted on the front bumper if you want to pick it up here in Modesto, CA. It also is listed locally and could sell anytime.
