You are looking at my 2006 Honda XR 660L. It is a dual sport bike that has been used as intended by the manufacturer - on and off-road. I have owned this bike since 2009 and have put approx. 5k miles on it. I estimate that maybe 2k miles of these were off-road on various gravel, dirt, and sand trails. The bike has been well maintained with regular synthetic engine oil changes. The rear tire has approx. a hundred miles on it. This bike has received various upgrades to make it more suitable for off-road use and longer distance riding. The upgrades are numerous and not listed in detail. There are various XR Only parts like oil temperature gauge and oil drain plug. The air filter is a UNI foam filter. The bike was bright yellow in color when I obtained it. I have since replaced the yellow body panels with white ones and stripped the extra-large 5.8 gallon aftermarket fuel tank back down to its original white plastic color. There may still be a few small yellow spots visible in tucked-away areas. There are scratches, dings, and dents on this bike. Please do not expect a show bike! This bike was used on trails and it shows. It has fallen over at times - standing and at slow off-road speeds. It is a serious off-road bike that will also perform reasonably well on the road. Included in this auction are original red body panels, fuel tank, seat cover, tool bag, etc. - see pictures. Also included are various maintenance parts, like a spare oil filter, maintenance manual, tools, Wolfman tool bag and spare front and rear sprockets of various sizes. The bike has aftermarket steel side protectors, luggage rack, and an aluminum skid plate. An engine oil cooler was fitted by the previous owner that performs exceedingly well. The wheels and frame are straight. Everything works as intended. This bike has heated grips, a battery voltage gauge, 12V accessory outlet, and a variable friction throttle - useful for longer highway riding. All the parts shown in the pictures go with the bike. There is also an aftermarket tachometer mounted in the center of the handle bar. This bike has run flawlessly for me - very reliable. On the highway it gets 50 mpg without a problem. I am selling this bike because I have upgraded to a larger bike. Anyone who is looking for a serious dual sport bike that is dependable and well maintained will enjoy this XR 650 L with many useful options and features added! It is a pleasure to ride!
