Vehicle Detail
Up for sale I have my 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 5 passenger coupe. The car is all original but has a few bolt-on modifications and plenty of accessories to establish it as a lowrider bomb. I will do my best to describe everything this classic features. 216ci 6 cylinder engine – new plug wires, wire loom, remote oil filter (needs hooked up), battery, and 6 volt system with booster for 12 volt radio installed, new GM radiator and heater hoses, runs excellent. New AC Delco fuel bowl added and Wolf whistle installed on vacuum from engine. 3 speed on column manual transmission – shifts perfectly with no issues. Suspension - is all original but has been lowered with 2” lowering blocks in rear. Have the stock u bolts if you want stock height and a 3” kit that I will include with purchase if you want it lower in the rear. 2” lowering springs for the front of the car will be included as well. Brakes – New master cylinder, brake hoses, wheel cylinders, and shoes. Original drums have been turned. Needs driver side rear drum emergency brake lever installed for parking brake to work. I have the lever and goes with car. Stops great for an old car. Body – The paint is original lacquer paint, chipping and would need repaint and body work. Has great patina and shows well from 15 feet. Your choice to keep or have re-done. Glass would need replaced along with gaskets for show. No severe rust anywhere but needs some metal work. Interior – Interior is in like new condition and new carpet and kick panels recently install in 9/2013, has all interior components intact. Gauges, trim, pedals, handles, and windows are all in working condition. Horn and radio do not work but are present. Has heater that works and new Alpine deck in glove box so it can be hidden. Has a custom venetian blind on back window. New side view and rear view mirrors. New clutch, brake, gas, starter and dimmer switch pedals. New OG Chevrolet floor mats. Tires and Wheels – The tires are Lester 600-16 tires with 3 15/16” whitewalls. Original 16” steel wheels were painted Sangria red. Tires have less than 25 miles on them. Brand new! New trim rings and hub caps as well. Accessories – Over the years I have either found several rare and hard to find parts that were only for the 1941 model year and some unique items to set the bomb off. Some of these parts are no longer in reproduction. I will list them all and hopefully don’t forget something: Complete front grill guard assembly that includes bumper guards, three straight bars and wing tips.Complete rear bumper guards and wing tips including rare re-chromed fold down trunk guard.Flying lady hood ornament.Original Fulton sun visor restored and painted Sangria red to match wheels.Red tip antenna with matching vents breezies, wind deflector and fender guides (some items not pictured but will be included).6” GM fog lights with original fog light switch.Dual Unity S6 spotlights with GM crest to match fog lights. Wired to Unity switch.Guide view finder, candy red suicide knob, vintage pipe holder with new pipe, Casco cat’s eye lighter (needs wired up), vintage flashlight holder with Ray-o-Vac flashlight, service vanity mirror, old school red Airway compass, NOS GM tissue dispenser.Vintage hat holder with lowrider style black fedora.Pit bull bobble head for rear deck and Betty Boop figurine on dash included.New blue dot glass taillights with Guide and Stinsonite embossed lens. Guide B-31 back up light (needs wired).New 1941 Chevrolet correct pattern fender skirts.Includes AAA National Award, AAA SoCal, Vintage Shell, Mobil Pegasus, 3 flag, and Lowrider man toppers. New reproduction GM gas cap.Vintage passing eye mirror, restored.Sleepy style headlight visors with cat’s eye trim on headlight ring.Miscellaneous parts removed from vehicle and other spare parts purchased. Hidden Alpine deck (will include two 6.5” speakers for up front and two 6X9’s in speaker boxes for rear). Speakers will need wired up and installed. I have done to the best of my knowledge to describe this one of a kind piece of history. This car has been a joy to own and has brought so much praise and appreciation at local shows. With a little more work, you can own a vehicle that will bring smiles to car enthusiasts wherever you are. Wonderful vehicle for being 73 years old.
