Beautiful and well maintained 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera 4. The car is a rare all-wheel-drive that drives and handles like a bat out of hell. This car is a Tiptronic automatic and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Owned for most of it’s life by a grandfatherly figure in Bakersfield, California, it has been babied and doesn’t show its 108,000 miles. This is a 5 day, No Reserve Auction. The car is available for sale locally. Porsche fanatics will appreciate that this car has some costly options, including full leather seats, suede headliner (alcantara), and the Porsche crest in the headrests. The car is in very good condition. I just had Precision Motion, Southern California’s Porsche specialist go through the entire car. They replaced the battery, the spark plug tubes and spark plugs, installed new rear brakes, and replaced the front CV boots which were starting to show signs of wear. The rear main seal has no leaks whatsoever, and I even had them cut apart the oil filter to ensure no signs of an IMS problem. The car also has brand new professional window tint and an oil change. Here are the imperfections: drivers side heated seat doesn’t work, radio and CD player doesn’t work, the speedometer is in metric, but the digital gauges are in miles. There is one small nick in the underside of the dash—approximately where a passenger’s knees would be—visible in the photos. There is a master key and a valet key. Happy bidding!On Jun-28-14 at 09:40:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: For clarification, the car was originally purchased in Canada, which is why the speedometer reads in kilometres, but spent nearly its entire life in California, which you can see in the AutoCheck report. I recently had a new key made for it at the Porsche Dealer. When they did this they entered the mileage in their system in kilometres, and then coded it for miles. This is why on the AutoCheck report you see the most recent reading as 173,562. However, this is not correct. I have added an image of the letter the Porsche Dealer just sent to me verifying that the mileage is actually just under 108,000 miles and they have submitted a correction to CarFax, which then will eventually update the AutoCheck report.
