2003 Saturn Vue as is for repair BCM/ECM error There is a periodic issue with the BCM/ECM which will make it not start until the error clears. As far as I am aware the only problem is a communication error between the ECM and BCM. That is the only error code I ever got it to throw. Some reading online seems to make that a possibility. Either that or a throttle position sensor. Either way, it is only the one problem. The problem is periodically it has an error and it will not start. Like I said, once the error clears it works just fine. It is just unpredictable. Some reading online also states that it could be a security lockout error. What happens exactly is: It will crank but not start. At the same time the power locks, dome light and dash lights do not work. Once the error clears, It starts and runs perfectly fine. All the lights and locks work as well. They are all caused by the same error. I just do not have the time to bother with it, and it has just been a major headache. Currently in ERROR so will NOT start. Could be an easy fix, I am not sure. When not in error it drives just fine. Engine runs great and Drives great!
