The 1971 Corvette is one of the sexiest cars of all time, this one comes featured in War Bonnet Yellow with matching T-Tops. The exterior of this car is highly polished and in very nice condition. It was certainly restored at some point in time however we do not know how long ago that was.

While the exterior shows quite nicely we did notice some imperfections. There is a 2.5 inch paint bubble just behind the drivers T-Top, paint shrinkage around the gas filler and rear decklid, & various chips. Short of the blemish on the roof, this Corvette is an absolute show stopper. All chrome looks to be in nice condition as well as the fender grates. Panel gaps are all relatively even and the associated rubber seals are in decent condition. All the glass is clean and clear, making for an unobstructed view.

Inward, the original style saddle interior is super clean throughout. The seats are in excellent condition with the exception of one small hole in the center of the lower drivers seat and a couple small imperfections. The dashboard, center console, carpeting, and headliner are all very nice and tight. There is an updated stereo system but it is not functional. This Vette has power windows, locks, and a custom wood steering wheel. The fiber optics for the lights are intact and functional. A purge button for the Nitrous hides in the ashtray along with a power switch for the system which appears to be very much operational.

GM parts performance supplied the previous owner with a new motor for the build. A ZZ350 crate motor was purchased with some added mods like an intake, carburator, NOS, etc... All these items together, with a built automatic transmission, make this one of the faster Corvettes we've seen. The hole shot is powerful and second gear will plant you. It will be hard for anyone to catch you! Not only is this car fast, but efficient as well. An overdrive transmission helps get the RPMs down when cruising at speed. Torque thrust II wheels are wrapped in drag radials and both hide drilled and slotted, disc brakes at all 4 corners. This set up is not for the faint hearted. We noticed some extra attention to detail under the hood with nice custom hoses and lines and some add on chrome. The car fires up easily and appears to have a nice smooth idle. It revs up quick and settles back down nicely. The NOS bottle has nitrous in it and the purge works. It feels like the system functions properly when accelerating. Keep in mind that we cannot confirm the build specs on this motor so we encourage you to do your homework. You very well may find yourself with more power than you expected.

*New Info* PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAD A CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE INVOLVED WITH THIS BUILD . WHILE WE CANNOT CONFIRM THE INFORMATION, WE WERE TOLD THAT THIS CAR RAN IN THE 10's WHILE OFF THE NITROUS AND IN THE 9's WHILE ON THE SPRAY. It does sound and feel like a lot of motor however there is no way for us to know if this is true. We were also told that the car has over $75k in the build...much of it in the engine and trans to be a street legal drag car. AGAIN, WE CANNOT VERIFY THIS INFO SO PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO COME INSPECT THE CAR IN PERSON.

Although this car starts right up and appears to run well, it will need to be thoroughly inspected before hitting the road because it's been sitting in storage.
