For sale is a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe with the original 289 V8 engine. The car is all original except for some recent work that included a new Holley 2bbl carburetor, new chrome air cleaner, new fuel tank and sending unit, new front brake lines, and all four shocks are new. The car starts up, runs great at highway speeds, handles comfortably, and stops well. It has the original drum brakes which work well. All the lights, switches, and gauges work. The body is in very good condition. There are some bubbles in the paint and some of the clear coat is peeling off, but underneath this car is extremely clean. There is no rust in the frame rails, quarter panels, floor boards, or fenders. Everything is in great shape, very solid. The paint looks good, it still shines, but is far from a show car. It is presentable for an everyday driver, but to go to the next level it would need a new paint job. The interior is in good original condition. Everything is in good shape, there are a couple of seams separated in the seats but nothing glaring.
