For sale is a 1996 Mazda Miata Convertible. It runs and drives 100%, has a clean Autocheck and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.8L four cylinder gas engine purrs along without a miss or smoke. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly with plenty of clutch. No issues with the brakes, suspension or steering. No exhaust leaks. We know the timing belt has been changed but the mileage on the sticker has worn off (see pic) The exterior is in good condition for the age. There are no major dents or dings. You might find a scratch if you look hard enough. The main cosmetic issue is a scrape on the right front fender (see pic). The color is blue but it sometimes looks like teal green in the sun. No body rust. The tan convertible top looks almost new with no holes, leaks or wear areas. No windshield chips or cracks. The tires, on factory alloy wheels. have about 35% tread (see pic). The lights and lenses are bright but the front turn signal light has moisture. The interior is black carpet and cloth seats. Both are clean without holes however the driver seat has the typical wear spot on the outside corner. All the power options such as windows, cruise control, side mirrors, etc. work as designed. There is a factory sound system with cassette and power antenna. The heat is hot. The AC is warm. Might need a charge? This is a great low mile Miata Convertible for Summer fun and fuel efficiency. There are no current mechanical problems and no indication of any impending issues. The new owner will be able to drive home, with confidence, no matter where they live.
