Vehicle Detail

Lifted 1989 Ford Bronco XLT 351 Automatic Description: I purchased this Bronco in 2008 with approximately 93,000 miles on it. Since then, it has been babied, and a tremendous amount of work has been put into it. The oil has been changed every spring, and it has been barn stored every winter after being properly winterized. Last year, I started to prepare the Bronco for a new coat of paint, but was unable to find the time, and although I have been driving it regularly this spring, I regrettably feel that it is best to find my baby a new home, where it can get some attention and use as opposed to sitting in a barn. The interior is in very good condition, with a couple stains as I have not had time to shampoo it, but no rips or tears. It has been a non smoking vehicle since I have owned it, and there are no signs the previous owners smoked in it. All of the lights, gauges and electronics, including the power locks, power windows, cruise control, wipers and everything else, function properly. The A/C blows cold, and the Bronco drives beautifully down the road. When I bought it it had the factory sound system, and was soon replaced with a high end Alpine system. As you can see from the pictures, the Bronco has a 3" body lift with a 2" suspension lift, complete with BFG "M/T 2" radial tires and black Cregar wheels with about 3,000 miles on them. It has SkyJacker front coil springs and rear leaf springs with Rancho shocks and steering stabilizer, installed two summers ago. It has full true dual exhaust, the headers being two years old. Otherwise it is completely OEM. Mechanically, the Bronco has been put through an extensive amount of work. Within the last 5,000 miles or so, it has had nearly complete brake, A/C and cooling system installed, new distributor with complete tune- up, some steering work, new steering column, new window track, and much much more. The engine runs strong, the transmission, which has a shift kit, shifts great, and it drives straight down the road. While getting an oil change a few weeks ago, my mechanic gave the ball joints and tie rods an A+, and was able to correct a bit of highway sway with an adjustment of the steering stabilizer. All of the work that has been done to the Bronco has been professional; I am not a mechanic, and did not try to do things that I am not trained and certified to do, unlike some people. A conservative estimate in the amount I have spent on my Bronco, excluding the purchase price of $4500 (bought it in a blizzard, got an amazing deal) is $15,000. The only issues that the Bronco has is a very slight oil leak coming from the main seal. I have never had to add oil, and it would have to sit for a few weeks before causing any noticeable oil stain on the ground. Last spring I replaced the factory hard top with a very expensive and hard to find soft top, that I managed to find new. I no longer have the hard top, but the rear window, along with the rear defrost, does work. The body is in comparably good shape, outside of needing paint. There are a few very small and easy to repair spots of corrosion, including some holes on the roof where a sun visor had been installed. The Bronco comes with a new headlight assembly, new ultra white headlights, new grill, new lug nuts, and some other various parts. In addition to saving me time and saving you money, I decided to sell without painting it to give its new owner the choice of a glossy show truck paint job, or a one coat trail ready paint job. This Bronco would be the perfect starting place for someone who was looking to go either direction. Terms and Conditions Payment & Pricing: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due immediately upon auction's end, and the remainder of the winning price must be made within seven (7) days of the auction's end. If arrangements are made, I can wait longer than seven days for pickup, but not for payment. I will accept cashier's check or cash. If you do not have funds immediately available or are not committed to the purchase, please do not place any bids. The title is clear and in hand. Shipping: I would be more than happy to drive the Bronco to a convenient location for pickup by the buyer or hauler. If hauled and not picked up in person, buyer is responsible for handling all arrangements and payment related to shipping. Warranty: This vehicle is being sold as is, with no warranty, express or implied. I have done my best to describe the vehicle in detail, but please be aware that it is 25 years old.
