For sale we have a 1983 Mercedes Benz 240D DIESEL. This car was adult kept and owned by an elder senior who had to give it up due to health issues. The car runs and drives like a dream. The 2.4L I4 FI DIESEL engine starts right up and it sounds super healthy. These motors are bulletproof and known to over last over 500-K miles. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly thru out all 4 gears and the R reverse goes in smoothly with no issues. The clutch grabs strong and it does not slip. The car is all original. The outside body is very clean. The paint shows paint cracks which is understandable for a 30 years old car. The interior is better then these newer cars. The seats are clean. The dash has few cracks. But for the most part interior is very clean. The A/C blows ICE COLD! Heat is warm. Sun-roof opens and closes. All 4 windows open and close. The radio works. Front tires have lots of dry-rod due to vehicle not being driven. The rear tires are in excellent shape. The undercarriage of the car is very dry and clean. Although this is a 30 year old car it is in amazing shape and still turns heads! Fly down and drive the car ANYWHERE with no worries at all. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: There will be $300.00 of Dealer Conveyance Processing Fee. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of CT for $95, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer, cash in person, or certified personal check. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion.
